Perfect for those who are brand new to yoga, anyone restarting their yoga journey, or anyone looking to learn more of the foundations of yoga.
What is a Beginner’s Series?
A beginner’s series is an excellent way to start your yoga practice or go back to the basics. During this 5-week series you will learn the fundamentals of yoga in an encouraging and welcoming small group environment. The structured, sequential approach to the series will enable you to build strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Format
Each session focuses on different fundamental aspects of a yoga practice. This structure will help you build a strong foundation that will continue to support you long after this series has finished.
Week 1- Breath, True North Alignment and Fundamental Poses
Week 2- Flow and Sun Salutations
Week 3- Standing and Balancing Poses
Week 4- Seated and Supine Poses, Explore Inversions
Week 5- Put it all together
When
The series runs over five weeks, with each session lasting one hour.
At this time there are no future dates scheduled for the Beginner’s Series.

Pricing
The total cost for all five sessions per household is £50. You may also book optional one-to-one or smaller group private sessions for 20 minutes at £10 each. If you have any specific questions about poses, breath, asana and/or meditation these private sessions are arranged at a convenient time for you and will provide a more personalised approach for exploration.

Things To Know Before Attending
Wear comfortable clothes so you can move easily
Yoga is practiced in bare feet
You will need a yoga mat or equivalent soft, grippy surface
I recommend having 1-2 yoga blocks, but other household items may be sufficient- sturdy books, kettle bells, water bottles, tins of soup, etc
If possible, try not to eat just before practicing
Have water available and take breaks as needed
Try to remove distractions from the area you chose for your practice- silence your phone, move furniture if you need more space, make the space yours for the full hour

Terms and Conditions
All sessions must be paid for in advance using a valid credit card. There will be no refunds, credits, or make-up classes for individual classes in the series. If you need to cancel your registration for the entire series, you must provide 72 hours notice before the first class in the series for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 to 72 hours of the first class, a 50% refund will be issued. If cancellations are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class or after the series has begun no refund will be issued.
If you are unable to attend one of the classes, this will not impact your ability to participate in the other four classes. However, the price will remain at the standard rate and will not be prorated. You must let the instructor know that you will not be attending at least 24 hours prior to the individual class.
Private one-to-one or smaller group sessions must be paid for in advance and booked at least 24 hours prior to the session. These should be organised directly with the instructor.
You must join the Zoom session at least 5 minutes before the start of each session. Late attendees will not be admitted.
If you are attending as a household rather than an individual, the Terms and Conditions apply to all participants
In addition, the standard terms and conditions and waiver of liability apply to all classes in the series.
